SCUT SCUT Association for Social Services, Braşov One moment...
The Social Services Association SCUT (SCUT) is a Romanian non-profit organisation.

The Social Services Association SCUT (SCUT) is a Romanian non-profit organisation. Together with our team, volunteers and supporters, we strive to build a world where everyone has an equal chance to find happiness and to access care and community support. We bring down social stigma and prejudices, institutional barriers and economic constraints to help the most disadvantaged groups from our community.

SCUT was founded in 2000 and since then, we have continuously looked for solutions to support people in need from our community. In our almost 18 years of activity, we have helped more than 1,000 people build a better life. Among these, we can mention youth discharged from state care, adults with disabilities, children, youth and disadvantaged families from Brasov County.

We also work closely with the Northern Ireland Romanian Partnership Committee (reg. no.: NIC100402), an NGO led by Richard Holmes, member in our Board of Directors. The NI Romanian Partnership Committee fundraises in our behalf in the UK.

At SCUT, we believe in the potential of every single person and our entire activity is geared towards empowering our beneficiaries to live as independently as possible.
